As a combative art, Yin Style Bagua emphasizes heavy strike training to develop stopping power that can end a fight. Here, the eight attack methods of Rooster system are shown so that a practitioner can develop the distinct power of each strike. Three foundational variants of each attack method are presented, for a total of 24 foundational attacks. Familiarization with these 24 attacks is a building block of the ability to change with an opponent's force and technique - a hallmark of bagua. In this video, He Jinbao introduces the 24 foundational attacks of Rooster System, demonstrating each in both stationary and moving step training methods.
